Victoria Dennis

Founder / Director
Architect

Victoria believes that clear and respectful communication is key. It is important that clients feel comfortable with her and therefore are confident to entrust her with their design plans. She values respect, appreciation and courtesy; I take the time to inform and advise my clients, and I give them time to absorb new ideas and concepts in what can sometimes feel like a steep learning curve. It is important to me to learn how they live as a family and understand their values and beliefs.

“I believe that family homes should reflect the family and not just the architect”.

At 27, after working in residential architecture, and at a time when women founders were few, Victoria made the move to start her own practice. At this time she discovered that architectural design generally, and herself specifically, could literally change peoples’ lives through transforming a formerly dysfunctional house into a fully functioning home.

“The joy is palpable: seeing a family in peace, and calm in their home.”

Victoria’s love of Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation practices mirror the Architectural principles of grounding, lightness, and balance which help her to manage a pacy and full family life.

Jason Wong

Senior Architectural Graduate

A natural doodler, Jason’s drawing evolved from cartoons to the sets of drawings submitted to council for approval. To this day he still prefers to draw by hand first before drafting on CAD.  Jason has an appreciation for regional style Architecture with ‘a modern take’.

Jason is due to sit his Registration Exam in 2021.

Jason’s hobby of snowscape photography has taken him to Iceland.  He hopes to visit Scandinavia as soon as the travel bans are lifted. Jason also plays the acoustic guitar.

Janice lee

Architectural Graduate

Janice, born in Malaysia, obtained her Masters in Architecture at the University of Adelaide in South Australia. She found herself lured to Sydney, captivated by the distinctively iconic buildings and high rises reminiscent of her father’s business in the construction sector back home. As a little girl, she followed her father’s site visits which inspired her to become an architect.

A self confessed "home body’, Janice has an instinctive appreciation for the potential of residential additions and renovations to turn a house into a home. Her attention to detail and meticulous work contributes to the seamlessness experienced by our clients from the start to finish of our projects.

Personally, Janice enjoys the warmth and conviviality created in her kitchen when baking her famed semi-sweet crepe cakes or “thousand layer cake” which bring joy and just a touch of sweetness into the lives of her friends and family.

Bronte parker

Architectural Assistant

An undergraduate Bachelor in Design and Architecture (University of Sydney), Bronte jointed TDDP for a two year placement after which she plans on returning to university to complete her Masters degree.

With a keen interest in ‘passive housing’ and the green building work Japanese architect, Shigeru Ban have her fired up on issues on sustainability; rethinking the uses or materials such as paper cylinders and locally sourced bamboo, the embodied energy and carbon footprint of buildings.

Playing soccer at her local club and going for hikes in nature helps her maintain her fitness. To relax, she plays the piano.

Charcoal

Escape Artist

The fourth TDDP Mascot, Charcoal is our liveliest. A sincere greeter of visitors to our offices, he will either stand guard protectively or, if given the chance, slobber appreciatively. Nestled in ancient native Mosman bushland, TDDPs grounds provide a home to many feathered and furred native species, we value them all.
